If you are a woman who thinks nice guys finish last, then I am not for you divorced for 2 1/2 years, I am a 6'7" 220 lb Montanan looking for someone special to share the ups and downs of life with. I am a retired high school teacher in Great Falls, Montana. My students thought that I was funny, my bosses not so much. Being politically correct is just not my thing. In fact, I am conservative in my beliefs but respectful of other points of view. I am also a singer songwriter and in my youth toured in a country/folk/rock duo in venues all over the Northwest, Alaska and the Yukon. I love log cabins and country living. I am an incessant reader and always have a book to curl up with, especially historical fiction. I used to have donkeys and horses when my two daughters were still at home, and I hope to have them again. Sometimes I raise free range chickens for eggs, but last year the coyotes got them. I love to grow a vegetable garden and enjoy fruit trees. Simple things like home grown food, wood stoves in the winter and getting in my winter meat and firewood make me feel at home. Don't worry, I also need the the basics of modern living. electricity, hot and cold water etc. I enjoy hunting, fishing and shooting old guns. I play guitar, sing, record and can write a decent song. I'm neither a yuppie, a hippie nor a redneck. I am just me. I am extremely allergic to cats and dogs when they are in the house. Outside is fine, as is smoking. This seems to be somewhat of an obstacle for me when meeting women, but there is little I can do about it. Besides, a good man can be hard to find and I'm a catch. Having lived all over the United States, I am no stranger to the big city. My dream however, is a place of my own in the country and someone special to share it with. I am very open to new places and possibilities. Being alone though desirable at times, is overrated; especially on long cold winter nights. Often I find myself craving the little intimacies that exist between close couples. I am looking for an intelligent, thoughtful woman with a sense of humor and similar interests, who will be my best friend and my only lover as will I be for her. I am both intelligent and romantic and don't like playing games. Although at times I can be a bit naive, I am humorous, extremely loyal, and honest to a fault. I need a woman who can seduce my mind as well as my body. I want to love and be loved by a whole person able to share most aspects of life with me; someone who I can be myself around with no pretensions.
