Well, I always stand up for myself, and my beliefs. I stand up for those I love. I speak my mind, think my own thoughts, and do things my way. I won't compromise what is in my heart. I live my life MY way. I won't allow anyone to step on me. I refuse to tolerate injustice. I have the courage and strength to allow myself to be me. So, try to stomp on me, douse my inner flame, squash every once of beauty I hold within. You won't succeed.

I have learned that no matter how thin you are, people still have something to say. I have learned that its taking me a long time to become the person I want to be & its a lot easier to react than it is to think. I have learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you. I have learned that maturity has more to do with the types of experiences you have had. I have learned that quantity is not as important as quality when it comes to best friends. I have learned that it is not enough to be forgiven by others, sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself. I have learned that no matter how bad your heart is broken, the world will not stop for your grief. I have learned that background and circumstances might have influenced who you are, but we are responsible for who we become. I have learned that you cannot make someone love you, all you can do is be someone who can be loved.

I believe that rest of my life is being shaped right now by the dreams I have, the choices I make, and the person I decide to be.
