I am kind, intelligent, generous, and empathic. I spend much of my time raising my 20 year old son and hope to expand my social life from being virtually nonexistent to an occasional hiss or nod from a woman. just hey user ID THROUTH outlook elct ronik male, Identifying my profession as "attorney" gave me pause since understandably and for good reason people hate them, but I represent the underdogs against evil, greedy corporations; ergo, I make a reasonable living and if you want some rich attorney, I have their cards. I am transitioning my career to become a law professor and am finishing my thesis in Political Science this Summer ("The Proliferation of Arbitration: Due Process Concerns"--for the 2 people in the universe that care). I value humility, I'm a sucker for a kind smile and/or kind eyes, and love to discuss the important things in life: e.g. What are the implications of the God particle? How does my body not drop a pound after I run 5 miles everyday for a week? I love going out and having a good time, but at home I'm fine watching the History Channel, Science Channel, or keeping informed on the search for the Yeti. To offset some nerd like qualities, I do enjoy Spurs and Texans games. On the other hand, I love "Rent", "Wicked", and "Les Miserables" (before Les Mis was cool). I'm a guy who will stand alone if I think I'm right, and since I'm a christian Evangelical, my avid support of the Left makes me an enigma (pariah? so be it!). Hey, once upon a time Christians believed in social and political justice . .. or maybe not and we've always been hypocrites. I abhor arrogance, anyone using anyone, turning a blind eye to suffering, and am really working on being a real and complete forgiver. My son thinks I'm the bomb, and I'm working on seeing everyone through the eyes of my son. Finally, humor. That's the really good stuff. If you can spar with me verbally, or engage in repartee, I might swoon. Or you might think I'm a giant nerd and curse me for wasting your time reading my profile. Alas, I do appreciate it and I truly wish all of us finds what we're looking for . . .And I'm never without a shirt because I have manners and won't afflict your eyes. Interesting start for Match.
