Well, here goes…my name is Paul. I'm 56, in good shape, got a brain in my head and an oddball sense of humour. I live in the far north (Dawson city Yukon); there is no one in Dawson for me.

I own a business here and I have 3 wonderful kids (4, 6 and 8…I started late). I love them to bits and wouldn't subject them to city life if my life depended on it. In short, I have roots in Dawson and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I do see meeting someone that will share my love of independence; be comfortable with herself, contemplative, smart, funny and fit.

I can see travelling from Dawson to be with her, get to know her and see what happens. I can see making my home in two places, here with my kids and there, with her. I don't expect anyone to move to the Yukon for me!

I want to live my life…we can help each other be our best selves.

Tall order? Only one way to find out.

She will be bright, funny/silly, able to hold a conversation She will be kind and generous, not into head games of any sort, and physically fit and beautiful. Quirky.

She'll like road trips, reading and chocolate chip cookies.

I figure we'll know when we find each other, lightening bolt sort of thing
