I consider myself a genuinely warm, humorous, open person, and my friends describe me as very supportive. I prefer to be with people who are extroverted, compassionate, and interested in the world around them. I’ve learned that kindness is often much more important than being clever, although being witty certainly is worth extra credit points. Almost everyone says they like to laugh; have you read a profile by someone who says they like being glum and dour? But humor is in the eye of the beholder.
I have a variety of outdoor activities, including traveling, walking/hiking, and snorkeling. I recently decided to try yoga, and I'm enjoying the challenge. I like to explore new places/experiences, but you're unlikely to find me hunting alligators on an episode of Swamp People. I'm a semi-serious amateur photographer, and I enjoy visiting museums and galleries. When the spirit moves me, I go to comedy clubs, jazz clubs, and the occasional play.
