I run a very small real estate company(family business) in China. I am the only kid of my family, very close to my parents. They have always been my best friends in my life and I can talk to them about anything. I was pretty much always the top three kind of kid straight up from kindergarten, got into a Chinese version Ivy League school(zhongshan University) in China, then got a nearly full score in TOEFL after first year, transferred to Denison University in Ohio and got my degree there. So I do speak english well. I love science, believe science is the key leading mankind to the future. However, I am NOT a nerd have never been one, always been very active in life,doing all kinds of sports. I am an atheist, or agnostic. I am not looking for someone who is too religious. I only believe in treating others the way you want to be treated. In my free time, I read, sometimes watch a movie, walk my dog, exercise. I don't drink, nor smoke, never sleeps around, barely barely go to bars.
In terms of business, I just put about 8 million USD in China¡¯s stock market. With the market level so low, I expect it to at least double in three years. But I am not materialistic at all. I am a big admirer of Warren Buffet, so you can understand my lifestyle once you look at his. LOL. I live a very modest life, drive a very normal car, live in a normal apartment, reinvest almost every penny I earn back to the business to make more money. I want to build up the business to a state where I can have some impact on the society, donating money to change the inequality of the society, to medical research, to improve animal welfares(like bear farms in China, where they keep bears in a body size cage, with a tube right into the gallbladder and drain gallbladder secretion form bears, everyday, for the rest of their lives... My eyes wet every time when I see or think of those things).
Lots of people here say that they are the ¡°half glass is full¡± kind of people. I used to be like that, but now I think I am more ¡°half is empty¡± type. It is not that I am always sad and unhappy¡ it¡¯s just that there is always something you can improve in your life, something new to learn or some good things that you can do to the society. If one ever becomes complacent about himself, he is not gonna improve much.
In terms of life-long partner, I AM very picky. Why shouldn¡¯t I? I only want to
marry once. I am fully aware that Asian guys aren¡¯t that popular among American girls. But frankly, and it might not sound very nice, that I think at least 95% of American girls are not good enough for me. So if you are just some gal with a very pretty face who only knows to party, have fun, with no vision in life, nothing special, doesn¡¯t love to learn new things, I am gonna get bored and impatient very soon, we are for sure not a match for each other.(sorry to be so straight forward).
I am looking for a girl, who first and foremost, has a kind and generous soul, is an honest person(being open and honest is always the number one important thing in any relationship), and who is smart(went to good schools or proven in life or jobs) and, good looking. I know it sounds a lot, but seriously, I am not bad myself. I am definitely a one hundred percent family man, will really build up something for our kids, just like what my parents did for me. You think asians are smart? Well, I am one of the best. And our kids are also gonna turn out to be nice, kind, loving and successful individuals.
