I am a work in progress. Such is life!

Hola! My name is Iris and I am looking for a long-term relationship. Of course, to get there, I guess friendship comes first. I am bilingual, speak Spanish and English. I am 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 pounds. I work. As a single mom I try to do the best I can with what I have. And, eventhough some things are not perfect, I am content with what I have achieved so far. I don't have a car. I thought I clarify these things because some times, while we read, some statements are not fully understood. Currently, I attend college in New York, hoping to get my bachelor s degree in English in two more years.

In my free time, I like going to the movies, or to the park, listening to music (106.7 FM), love the outdoors. Indoors, you could find me playing board games like Monopoly or Parcheesi with my family or watching the Investigation or the Science channels. I am interested in anything that's going to enrich my mind and soul. I consider myself easy going, respectful, honest, smart, faithful, caring and funny. I am a family oriented woman, my kids are my life. I have christian values About who I am hoping to meet. I am looking to find a man who knows what he wants out of life and out of a relationship. One who is empathetic and somehow spiritual. A man who knows when to hug me and be there for me when I need him. Let him be respectful and family oriented. One who is no longer interested in playing mind games, but is looking for love and is able to commit to one woman. A hard working man, but also one who knows how to set aside time for his family. A man who will accept me as I am. And, of course, I am so open to change when it comes to improving, but not replacing. After all, I am still a work in progress...I am not done yet, lol. Age and ethnicity are not that important, however, I tend to be more attracted to men who are around my age group or older, hispanics and caucasians.

A word of wisdom: eventhough love seems to come and go so quickly at times, true love remains. So, if this has happened to you don't despair because it might be only a matter of time when that special person appears almost like magic to complete your life.
