I enjoy reading and writing poetry.
I love the outdoors camping hiking though not as much as I used to. I love ancient history and visiting all sorts of places of historic interest. I do occasionally go fishing and shooting, I have a dry and somewhat sarcastic sense of humour which grows on people or so my friends say.I love to watch the stars, and ive a big collection of classic movies of all descriptions.

I do smoke but trying to give up, and I dont touch alcohol at all, ive seen a lot of let downs and heartache relationship wise and now am single for the first time in 25 years. I am looking for a lifelong partner. who will be my friend and lover and my companion on this lifes journey. I value love and loyalty above all things, and am looking for a lady who values the same.
I am not a game player and not interested in non-committal companionships and casual dating.
