Cerebral, charming, romantic, fun!

I'm never in a hurry if I'm in the right place. I like to take the time to see, touch, hear, taste, and smell things. If you can enjoy the salty smell of the sea, the water trickling down your boudoir window on a rainy September day, the laughter of children at play in the park, the wind touching your face at the top of a hill, or the colors of a rainbow as much as you enjoy Paris at night, then you've really discovered how to be happy...maybe even wise. That's what's on my bucket list.

To me, wine is indeed the nectar of the gods. I am quite an oenophile and love to have a drink with dinner or Happy Hour. :) I love great food but I can burn water so don't let me near the kitchen.

A great night is dinner with friends, a good movie, and sharing a glass of wine in front of a cheery fire. Or it could be a night at the opera or theater. Or sleeping under the stars at night way out on the high desert plain. Or dancing and singing 'til they close the bar down in the worst part of town.

Being brought up in the American South, I am a gentleman in every sense of the word. This means I'll hold the door open for you and treat you like a lady deserves to be treated. It also means I will never ask you to do anything you are uncomfortable with. Honor is priceless.

I received a classical education so I have learned to use logic and history to decide for myself how the world works. I am a 19th century man stuck in a 21st century world, and I find great amusement in poking holes in the paradigms and sacred cows of the progressive ruling class.

I'm a writer, looking for his muse, his lover his friend- and a whole lot more. I know you're out there. You know who you are. Let's see the world together, today. For the right person there's no need to wait- for anything! Im ready for it all: travel, love, and marriage If things don't work out, no worries! It just wasn't meant to be. At the very worse, we'll still be friends. But if they do, well then: it'll be the ride of a lifetime for both of us! :))
