First off, I'm Irish and proud of it!
I'm a writer who enjoys watching and making movies. I don't like sports, but I do enjoy conversation I've dedicated my life to creating films and expressing my artistic vision through them. Don't get me confused with your average "film student," however; I hate senseless art and think it has no place in our culture.
As you might guess, I love movies. I buy at least 5 a week and I try to keep to the independent, foreign or grindhouse genres (by the way, if you haven't seen Death Proof or Planet Terror PLEASE do yourself a favor and see them!). The second love in my life is video games, because they've always given me a sanctuary. I got a Nintendo Wii for Christmas, so not only do I get the best of the new, but I get the best of the old (you can download old games on the Wii..in case you didn't know, lol).
I also enjoy Science Fiction, although I'm not as well versed in it as some.
Most people think I'm a liberal, but anyone who knows me knows that I'm not. I am conservative, but I don't claim a party. I see political parties as a group that follows too blindly. To me, issues such as the environment, peace, organic foods and proper capitalism are not political - they are common sense.
I plan on getting my Red Cross and Lifeguard certification soon.
Lastly, I love animals. I have two dogs, and I want an otter if I can ever get the license for one. I'm currently in the process of joining the APSCA.
