I guess I'm on my own here. Here goes:

I want to feel that spark again. There is no better feeling than wanting someone. The butterflies in the stomach; the anticipation of a phone call or a text message; the sensation of a deep kiss and never wanting it to stop; the longing to be together; that 'look' in her eyes knowing that it's for you and you alone; praying for a thunderstorm and power outage; the type of hug where you just can't get close enough with arms locked and legs tangled; laughing your butts off at made-up scrabble words; holding hands, not just for a moment but forever.

I am an old-fashioned romantic person. I believe in holding the door for my lady, holding her coat as she puts it on, bringing her morning coffee, sending love notes, telling her how a song on the radio reminded me of a special moment we shared. I enjoy doing anything and everything that will put a smile on her face. I am comfortable in all situations, whether it is a romantic dinner and wine in a fancy restaurant, beer and wings in a pub, or sitting on the couch in front of the TV and fireplace. I am the father of an amazing son. He is the center of my life. We love to do things together and would need to have my companion be comfortable around Him.

I am a christian and i attend church regularly. I'm an intellectual person, trustworthy, compassionate, fun to be with, fair and friendly. I honestly try to exhibit the qualities that I seek to find in others. I work at being financially, emotionally and physically stable. I am an out going independent man who likes to be outside and also enjoys warm cozy nights by a roaring fire inside. I don't take the "small" things in life too serious no drama and I honor family values and respect and value others. I am a good listener but tend to talk a lot when I am nervous. I am honest and open, and feel that communication is the key to success in any relationship and trust holds it together. I love to laugh and joke with others. I believe that a smile will set the mood in any setting, so I try to set the mood in a positive way always.

I would like to meet someone who would be open to having a friendship first and then pursuing a relationship. A good sense of humor is a must, if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at? And I laugh at myself a lot. I would like someone who is outgoing, someone who enjoys being outside, hanging out with friends/family, taking weekend trips. Her family is very important to her, She can express her feelings of need, She loves children, She likes to cook, She's not afraid to get dirty ie...camping, water fun, skiing in the snow but then also going out to nice restaurants. She likes to wear jeans but can be formal too. I am not looking for a person who is too caught up in her looks but can find inner beauty in herself and others.
