Regrettably I’m not good nor clever at words to advertise myself.
I’m no oil painting but between me & a warthog I would win...besides I can cook…..& I put the loo seat & lid down! Years ago I looked after my kids for several years. I used to live in the South East but decided to retire early & move from the very expensive & frenetic area & move to somewhere much more spacious & relaxed. I didn't bargain for the hugeness of Lincolnshire. We have a very limited bus service, regular power cuts & invariably poor broadband. There are only so many hours you can spend gardening, reading or watching tractors. As I'm fairly active & am far too young to "hang up my boots" I volunteer for different charities. (I did this cos I found no volunteers to join me crossing the Sahara desert on a space hopper). Not having a reasonable gym near me I keep fit with daily use of a cross-trainer & dumbbells. (I gave up on the stomach crunches).
Although I have done a lot & am well travelled, throughout UK & wider world, there is still much that I want to see & do. I don’t want to simply sit & grow old. I’m on the cusp of booking an Arctic cruise & Ghan (Australia) railway journey for 2026. However I would far rather share these experiences. Answers to many of the site questions don't really reflect my nature very well. I'm just a genuine man looking for good female company.
I’m gregarious, reasonably intelligent, a good conversationalist & a prolific reader.
Being fairly active I spend much time maintaining my house & large garden (which I landscaped myself 6 years ago..at present I’m relaying my brick patio. I’m no Capability Brown but I work hard). I’m seeking good feminine company to enjoy life rather than just sit, waiting to grow old. I have a lot to give the right person
