HERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT ME...

My friends tell me they like me for my sensitivity, depth, sense of humor, and intelligence – at least according to them! But I'm not just an intellectual; I'm handy around the house and practical in my approach. I believe love means not only to give but also to be willing to receive. Kindness and tenderness mean a lot to me. My intention is to develop a healthy relationship – in the hope that it will deepen over time and become the life long friendship we call marriage I am living in Washington DC, USA. I like to read, hike, swim, go to the mountains, listen to music, go to movies, or just enjoy meaningful conversation one on one. But I also love games like pool, soccer, board games and other things that involve a group – they are a great way to get to know one another.

For me life is about growing and learning about how we should relate to one another. It has to do with interdependence, with joy and suffering, with growing in goodness. Yet I am not interested in a woman who wants to make me the perfect man: love is not about perfection, it is about being with. I am looking for a woman who knows what love is. I hope I can offer what I'm looking for.

Near the top of the list is a cheerful, active personality who enjoys life. Sense of humor does not hurt either. In one word: a companion I am not looking for an independent individualist but an emotionally balanced person with a strong sense of togetherness. I think that means to encounter and to be encountered. I came to the US without knowing anyone here and not even knowing the language. I'm looking for someone with the same courage – who looks for how something could be possible, not for a reason not to do it.
