I'm a 34 year old big beautiful Brooklyn italian woman who's happy in my career, family, friends, and career. I'm also rather unfulfilled in the romance area of my life, so I'm putting out the beacon......I'm single and I'm looking for the love of my life.

Who I am: a self-proclaimed princess with a distinctively feminine shape and a unique personal style, a notoriously bad driver, a reluctant cook (if I cook at all), a modern woman who doesn't need your money, an old fashioned girl who values family and loyalty (family & loyalty, kind of an old-world Italian thing), a proper lady who knows which fork is for what during a formal dinner, and a neighborhood girl who likes a greasy burger.

What I like: '90s music, particularly that of Gavin Rossdale, there's something earthy and primal in his voice. I read everything from the funny pages (yes, I'm an adult, but I also need to know what Hagar the Horrible is doing in order to start my day properly), to John Dunne (you know that phrase "no man is an island"? It's originally from a John Dunne poem), to John Girsham, to Tina Fey to Chelsea Handler. I love movies and recently Netflixed The Lincoln Lawyer.

What I dislike: Famous people's twitter posts. I just don't care that Brittney Gastineau got hair extensions, or that Ashton Kutcher thinks he's awesome. I'm not a sports fan; don't even know the rules of football. The movie Inception is on my poo-poo list, I've seen the thing 4 times and have NO IDEA what it's supposed to be about.

Who I'm looking for: a confident, assertive Caucasian male who's happy in his family, friends, and career, who knows how to appreciate a real woman with real curves (and saddle bags and thunder thighs), who likes to go out and have fun but is also a grown up and isn't out there to play games (I'm not into playing games).

In my mind, a good first date would be to go someplace nice for dinner (look at my pictures, gentlemen, yes, I eat real food),someplace where the food is good and we can talk, and if we're getting along, possibly go to a nice lounge or one of the bars where they have live music.
