Since we are all initially judged by our profiles and pictures, I want to give you a better idea of who I am, what I enjoy doing, and who might be a good fit for me. I have been described as sensitive, calm, kind, affectionate, giving, caring, loyal, intellectual, and compassionate. I am an advocate of sustainable living, and prefer to focus my time and energies on cultivating my relationships and living within my means. At the same time, however, I plan and save for the future, and envision a “retirement” of learning, community service, international exploration, and sharing life with a partner.

I am well-educated and endlessly curious, have traveled and lived abroad, and have an appetite for continuously learning new things. I am attracted to others who also share this passion for knowledge, and get great satisfaction from talking about new ideas and interests. I have progressive political views, and so it is important that my partner be sympathetic to my passion for human rights, environmental awareness, sustainable living, and tolerance.
