I have gained wisdom through making a lot of mistakes and have found that happiness isn't something you can buy or something someone else can give you, it is simply a bi-product of living a good honest life and being of service to others. I spent the early part of my life accumulating stuff, and one day I looked around at all my stuff and said I still feel empty, I do love the finer things in life, and am blessed to be able to enjoy them, the difference is they aren't my reason for being or my sense of self any longer. I have found that helping others gives me more joy and peace than any self serving things I've done in the past, so I spend as much time as I can doing it.
