I am person who loves life, a close friendship would add to that. and hopefully fufill someone else's hopes. Despite my age I am still fit and healthy,and mentally feel 30 years younger. I spent 30 years as an Navigating officer/captain in the Merchant navy so am very well traveled,I still travel a lot, but in Europe nowadays. I have lived in France for 15 years but only hold basic conversations and reading. My sense of is very good, my fall back look is to smile. For pastimes i like gardening, reading, history study. In short I have had a good and happy life so far, and if I can share that happiness with someone else that would be complete.
