I am very independent, but like having a strong shoulder to lean on. I can be shy at times, but can also be very outgoing. I am street smart, but also intellectual. I am very funny, but can be quite serious. I would rather live in the country (the mountains by a lake), as long as it is close to a city. Things that are not opposite about me are that I am upbeat, warm, caring, honest, friendly, generous, and compassionate. I am emotionally mature know and understand myself well, and am financially independent. I desire the same in a mate I also have high expectations of others. Character and integrity are very important to me. Good manners and treating others with respect are mandatory.

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for those less fortunate. For the past 20 years, I have worked in the legal field as a Realtor/Broker (I recognize this has little to no socially redeeming value but it is interesting). I also design/make jewelry and have a "store" on Etsy. I like being silly sometimes, and I also enjoy stimulating conversations. I plan on retiring in the next year or so, and plan on doing a lot of traveling. On the top of my list are Israel, Italy and the Galapagos Islands. I am looking for a long-term/forever partner to do this with - interested?
