I am a quiet person who enjoys good conversations one-on-one and also via my personal I like nature, but not necessarily camping. I'm more of a hot tub aficionado (conversely, I would not turn down a pool by the house). I like a quiet home, where I can enjoy the yard and plant a few flowers. I have great appreciation for beautiful vegetation and architecture.

I don't do the bar scene. I am more of a stay-at-home-and-have-a-glass-of-wine-by-the-fire-place kind of person --- or tea. No bungee jumping! I like good food, and I am never on a diet. I am not a super active sporty women, who purports to remain forever young. Together with someone who is reliable, settled, and stable, I wouldn't mind eventually becoming like one of those old couples in "When Harry met Sally." A great cook would be thoroughly appreciated!

If romance is not in the cards, I am also open to friendship. It's always good to expand on your friends.

I would be willing to re-locate---however, I would like to restrict potential re-locations to Canada and the U.S. If you expect me to re-locate, I would expect that you have at least a decent and spacious house, or otherwise decent, spacious, and appropriate accommodation. If, in your profile, you pride yourself a traveler, distance should be an incentive rather than an impediment.

Last but not least, at my age, I think of the future, and it is important to me that it is safe and secure as far as living arrangements go. Access to health care is also important. We are not getting any younger! In short, I am looking for someone who has prepared for the future, inadvertently or with purpose.

Oh --- and --- I'm a dog person.
