Can be funny, loyal, honest, caring, compassionate, friendly with logical thinking and very analytical. I come from a working class background and class myself as fairly intelligent, with skills in 'University of Life'! I am a bit dubious about dating sites but I have decided to give it another go. Life is too short and I'm not getting any younger, as aren't we all lol and since loosing mum earlier this year, it's made me realise it would be nice to meet someone. I would like to meet someone who lives not far away from me, and not up country as I wouldn't have the time for long distance travel and I think to build the foundations and trust you need, being close by is imperative. I have kept myself pretty much to myself for a while now and it's now time to hopefully find my 'Mr Right' . You would have thought at my age I would have done that by now but life has dealt me a cruel hand. I would like to find someone who has their own interests in life, who is independent, up for a laugh, doesn't take life too seriously only when necessary! Someone who will think I am the 'Best thing since sliced bread'. Someone who takes pride in their appearance, that doesn't mean you wear a suit! I am happy browsing shops, boot fairs, walking on beaches. visiting places of interest, going for a 'Starbucks', maybe that sounds a bit dull to some people,but I guess these things are free except the 'Starbucks' lol . But I would go kayaking if asked, so open to new ideas, but not bungee jumping, well maybe!! I love the 'soaps' as well, sorry but I do. I also love action, comedy, sci-fi films, documentaries anything I consider worth watching. I am a jeans sort of person, but can 'doll up' for special occasions'. I am not materialistic but would have the best of everything if my wage allowed and if I won the lottery :) There are no 'ayres and graces' about me, what you see is what you get. I don't play games with peoples minds and at our senior ages wouldn't expect you to either. I do work full time, I have a nice little job and it pays the bills. I do have a car which I would be lost without. I have also been told I don't look my age which I think I inherited the 'gene' from mum, bless her. Well this is pretty much me, just need to get a photo on here and then hopefully find my 'Mr Right'.
