Hello, I'm the type of person who loves to have deep conversations and spend quality time with those close to me. I'm not really one for small talk or shallow conversations, though I understand one must wade through the shallow water before swimming in the deep.

I can have fun but also be very focused if there are things to be done, which is so often the case as adults pursuing a more meaningful life. I am seeking a deeper faith in God and have become part of an Orthodox church here in the Pacific NW. I find that it is a church set apart from the world, which seems to be less and less the case in many of today's churches. That being said, I'm realizing that being part of a church like this also causes one to realize just how imperfect one is!

When the opportunities arise, I love spending time near the water, especially the ocean, or doing other things in nature like hiking, etc. I am deeply dedicated to taking care of those closest to me, which right now is my two wonderful kids... but who knows what the future holds?
