This is only the second dating/friends website I have contacted so I am very very new to this type of thing.

I am 45 years old and for the last 8 years have devoted my time to being a full time mum to my little boy aged 8 years (going on 14 LOL). When my son began primary school, I also began college and completed an NC and HNC in Early Education & Childcare. Now that I'm qualified and have at last managed to find a job, I feel I would like to meet some new friends and possibly someone to share fun times and go out for a wee drink with every now and again.

As I said this is very new to me and I'm looking forward to perhaps meeting that special person and enjoying good times. I mostly socialise with my friends a few weekends every 4-6 weeks. I'm very much a 'people person, I enjoy chatting and particularly enjoy spending time with my young son, my family, going to cinema, going for meals and pretty much anything that involves fun and laughter.
