On the private side, I'm really rather quiet, NOT a party animal. I grew up as a PK (Preacher's Kid) so yes I was somewhat spoiled. All the little old ladies would feed me every week, ergo I ended up booming to 350 lbs! It took a treadmill regimen and a weight loss surgery in 2016 to bring me down 16 pant sizes and down to 175 lbs! I'm also an amputee (right leg below knee) and operating in a prosthetic. It's so nondescript, its not noticeable unless i have on shorts or a bathrobe.

I'm pretty eclectic, musically speaking. My interest range goes from baroque classics (especially Bach) to Karen Carpenter, Melba Moore, Shania Twain, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Bon Jovi, Toto, Donna Summer and the 2 powerhouses, Billy Joel & Sir Elton. I am not into rap, hip-hop, and any of those related genres. I grew up in the disco era.

The Minneapolis club where the film "Purple Rain" was partially filmed, was an ACTUAL hangout for me during college to the point I got a job there. I LOVE to dance, and am anxious to go back and visit.

I am TRULY an incurable romantic. I'm old school, helping ladies with chairs, coats, & doors. I'm sensitive enough to cry watching Bumblebee, Brian's Song & Gigot, yet strong enough to be a force to be reckoned with when the situation called for it. I love to cook, and especially SHARE cooking. I think that's one of the most erotic things a couple can do.

I've always been a good listening ear. I'm not just looking for love I'm looking to nurture a friendship that will grow to be IN love. There's a difference. Do you know what it is?

Since I was a reporter 20 years and and interviewed Presidents, Vice-Presidents, and wannabes, I ALSO had the U.S. Secret Service clear me more than a few times. I've NEVER seen the inside of a prison nor had ANYTHING to do with a felony, in case you want to background check me.

I am an open book to those who WARRANT my trust.

I enjoy pub trivia nights and watching Jeopardy and yelling at the TV if they blow an answer. I've done 2 TV trivia game shows. (What Do You Know? and The Weakest Link)

I'm more of a cat person. Plain and simple. They're quiet and clean., easy to care for, and affectionate. Like me. But in recent years, I've learned to appreciate dogs, as long as they don't remind me of Birmingham in the 1960's..

I AM somewhat of a pragmatist. I will approach you, ask you to review my profile, give a yay or nay and then govern myself accordingly. I'm NOT going to abuse your time OR MINE by building up something where there can be no solid foundation. Consequently, when you hear from me, much appreciation is given for the courtesy of you replying.
