Day 1 – July 20, 2025
Alright, fine. I give up. Apparently, I do need a man… to reach that one lightbulb, carry heavy stuff, and tell me my new shelf is “totally level” even though we both know it’s leaning like it just finished happy hour.
I swore I was done with dating, but here I am
Currently in Nova Scotia, Canada, sweating like a sinner in church and wondering why my VPN thinks I live in Italy or Glasgow or New Orleans, depending on the day. (Honestly, I’m flattered. Keep it up.)
My grampa was from Kenmare, Ireland (top-tier accent), and one day I dream of retiring to the UK, sipping whiskey in a stone cottage while judging sheep for no reason. Until then, I’m here sweating in NS and avoiding my inbox like it owes me money.
About Me single mom to two amazing daughters (15 & 22), AKA the unpaid emotional support team.
Big heart, soft soul, slightly sarcastic, with a 78% success rate at pretending I have my life together.
Extroverted introvert: I love people… in theory. But I also really love silence and documentaries about serial killers.
I have spent the last year purposefully getting back on my feet after a pretty scary car accident a few years back. I love to walk and hike but running will likely never be my thing.
Why I Might Need a Man (But I’m Still Not Convinced):
Someone has to reach the top shelf while I supervise from below with snacks.
I need someone to say “you’re right” at least once a week.
What I’m Looking For:
Someone kind, emotionally literate (no, being “chill” isn’t a personality), and genuinely happy in their own life.
Bonus if you’re funny, smart, employed, and not allergic to commitment or communication.
Basically, I want someone who:
• Loves spontaneous kitchen dance-offs.
• Doesn’t get weirded out by crying at Pixar movies.
• Can handle sarcasm and sincerity in the same sentence.
• Will tell me if there’s lettuce in my teeth before we take a photo.
Say hi if:
You’re a decent human and aren’t intimidated by a woman who’s built a life she likes—but wouldn’t mind sharing snacks, stories, and sarcastic commentary on the world with someone equally awesome.
Perfection? Overrated.
Just be real. Be kind.
If you’re the type to say what you mean, mean what you say, and think “slow and steady” beats fast and emotionally unavailable”…
Ask me anything. I’ll reply in 5–7 business days.
