I am 73 years old and have no problem with my age as I’m a realist. I am a dual citizen and spent most of my life in the UK where the family live. I love and live in Vernon, BC and call it the best kept secret in the world, a veritable playground and play, I have! I still have some toys but find company hard to get at times as there is so much diversification. I am seriously loyal and sincere and I only tell the truth. I’ve had a good life so far with great ethics and moral principles. I have a small business in the UK which my son manages for me but I get to work when visiting home I am retired here in Canada but never adjusted well though COVID has changed that. I love to laugh and am an active outdoors type but no athlete. I have been involved in Ground and Air Search and Rescue for over 10 years now; I raft, motorbike (crotch rocket), ride, downhill ski, snow-shoe and everything water. I have a bicycle and don’t mind hiking when in good company. I am very social, mix well, am confident without being an alpha-male, love music, live bands (rock, MoR and Country), camping, own my own house and am looking for friendship which will develop into a closer relationship. I have had two long-term marriages, both good but not looking for another ceremony LoL. I am quite tactile and enjoy closeness but not being smothered. My ideal lady will be confident, independent but adaptable, a balanced talker and listener and of similar status – the old ‘normal!’ I am patient and a problem solver which makes challenges, interesting. I don’t smoke and don’t want a smoker for a partner. I don’t have any problems with tattoos or piercings and social drinking is fine – I’m hesitant about non-drinkers and ‘health nuts’ as life should be simple and balanced- there is so much more to me than I can write here and I have a past, not baggage but I get on with my ex’s and because they have occupied my life as yours will have you, they are not a banned topic. I do answer every contact I receive but did get d once on that score - if we're not suitable, I will be polite about it, OK.
