Hello :-) As you might expect of someone who grew up along the southern California coast, I love the ocean and there is almost nowhere I feel more comfortable than in water. If it's something to do in or on water I probably love it. By nature I am an open, caring and gentle person with a big heart. I enjoy a good laugh, and almost nothing makes me laugh more than playing with my animal companions; they never cease to amaze, delight and teach me. I love learning new things. Being retired has allowed me time to have a garden and it has been so much fun It's quite small, but full of flowers, bees, birds, butterflies, hummingbirds, lizards, frogs, and of course all sorts of insects. We have a moth in this region called Sphinx moths. At first I mistook one for a hummingbird, but it came at night, and when I got up close I realized it was a giant moth! I was quite a surprised. Gardening is something I always wanted to do but never had time for so I'm enjoying every moment... even the surprises ha! ha! So, my life is good, and I'm quite happy.
