I am a 52 year old Finnish-American man who has Parkinson's disease. I have had Parkinson's for 15 years and it can be a demanding disease. I firmly that despite all of the pills I take, exercise has greater impact on the slowing down the disease. I play hockey, bandy, cross country ski, volleyball, and bowling in the winter. I also play the board game Scrabble twice a week and about 4 to 6 times a year. In the summer i golf, and golf and golf. I
used to hate golf, now i play almost every day. It is such a good activity to spend 4 hours of thinking and physically fitting.
