I have a great sense of humour ( not the kind to overcompensate for 'butterface' ;-D. I'm looking for someone to connect and chat with who shares my interests and if it leads somewhere then fantastic, but if it doesn't, I am just happy to have a 'grown-up to chat with and have a good laugh with. I'm a mom on identical twin boys and a beautiful daughter. I am recently divorced but if I'm honest it has been a ong time coming. TMI I guess but he was verbally and physical abusive. I am however healed and ready to take the leap into the next chapter of my life (even if it just means friendship. 12 years is a lot to get back on the wagon and quite frankly I have no idea what to start. Well well-educated (prettier than my profile does me justice: only had outdated photos) I'm logical, fun and recently divorced. What you see( read via typing) is what you get. I am a Remedial Educator who runs a school for a non profit organisation. We take children off the street and remediate them so that they can reenter mainstream school in order to have a second shot at life and make something of themselves. I love what I do and while it sounds strange, there is nothing more I love (other than my wonderful biological children) than getting up each morning to go to work.

I enjoy meeting and chatting to new people, and with any luck I will meet someone I click with and find that bliss again. I am not overly romantic. That being said, I hope that I can meet someone here who both stimulates my mind and can make to laugh my ass off. I have been told I am beautiful (although it is always difficult to see it oneself) and I hope that one day someone will see the beauty within and without.

I love animals ( to the point of rescuing cockroaches - hehe - as I believe all life is sacred) not because I believe in any silly superstitions, but merely because I cannot bring myself to take another life unnecessarily. Needless to say, my vet gets a lot of deliveries.:-D

While I am logical and cynical at times, I live in hope that people will always give in to their better instincts and practise this compassion and empathy in my daily life. Don't get me wrong, I am Italian and throw down with the best of them, but I believe in second chances. I have had gracious people kind enough to offer me second chances when I have screwed up in the pass. I am not saint despite the impression this profile gives. South African men- take a chance, get to know me and perhaps at the very least you can develop a friend who can vent to now and then.
