I am 56 year old retired, still have a full head of dark blonde hair, even tho it's silvering at the temples, and hazel eyes. I'm very young at heart and don't always act my age ;) I love goofing around, but my humor can be a little twisted at times. I love cooking, BBQ, cuddling,holding hands while walking, discovering inexpensive treasures and trinkets, biking, camping, fishing, trying new places to eat, going out to farmers markets or garage sales, nature -especially the ocean. I like to take a lot of pictures. On warm summer nights I like to sit out in my backyard enjoying the flowers and the squirrels, on rainy nights I like to cook a nice dinner followed by cuddling on the couch while watching a movie. I'm not really into sports tv. I'm comfortable in my skin but since I do have some extra lbs I'm trying to be more active. I'm more of a casual type of person, love my jeans, but don't mind dressing up for a night out on the town. I am a cancer survivor with scars (both physical and emotional). Most of my kids are all grown up with kids of their own but I do have 14 years old twins and a 17 years old that live down in California with their mother They do visit but due to distance not very often. I enjoy my life but would like to have someone to share it with. I can also be quite adventurous if challenged and up for trying almost anything new. I don't go to church a lot but religion is a big comfort to me. I can be a little shy at first but after a while my goofy personality will come out :D

I tend to be attracted to shorter women with a few extra lbs, about 45-55 years old who love the more simple things in life. She must be ok with animals since I have both a cat and a dog, must have a good sense of humor, not only taking my sometimes twisted jokes but she also knows how to dish it out as well ;). I love them but I don't have the energy for very young kids anymore so I'm hoping to find someone whose kids are no younger than mine.
