    single for many years, and contentedly so for the most part. I work full time in a busy environment with wonderful colleagues. My work is junior in the department, despite which I enjoy it fully. I often joke I am way passed my used by date, because after a full days work I have little incentive to do much more than read a good book or watch some documentary on my laptop - I don't even watch TV! I had a large family back in the day, they are of course adults now whom I love dearly, as I do my grandchildren and one great grandchild. They are spread around NZ and Ozzie, with only two very independent adult children and their families still in town. Work commitments keep us from seeing each other very often, which is natural. I feel it would be nice to strike up a friendship with a like minded person if that is possible.
