Hobbies and Interests:

Outdoors! - I adore nature, fauna & flora. My passion understanding plants refers to my profession.(I'm an Agronomist). I travel, explore and read a lot, always keeping trend with new and changing technologies. Being an above average athlete, I keep myself fit with circuit training, walking/jogging along the beach and playing golf. (I love dancing and to listen to a broad spectrum of music!). I'm fond of traditional, but healthy cooking and always trying out new recipes. I specialize in BBQ's, in- and outdoors. I'm quite capable, and neat, in a kitchen! :-). My other passion/hobby is aviation. I've earned my PPL long ago and time permitting, I love to practice it to a certain extent. I'm very lenient towards other hobbies and interests.

Character:

I have a very well balanced character. I might be a little stubborn, but never unresponsive nor irresponsive. Associates, family and friends see me as a straightforward, humoristic, easy-going guy.(No hang-ups! - rather a giver than a taker). However, they respect and appreciate my honesty and intellectual capabilities. Including english which is my second language, am I capable to speak two other African languages. Afrikaans is my native language. Although being divorced for several years, never have I been an absent father. Both my kids are grown ups now and the time has come to spread my wings to search for my best friend/partner wife which were the biggest vacuum in my later life as long as I can remember. It took quite enough courage and inspiration from others to get me this far. I was promised that I'll won't be annoyed following this route. I don't want to be alone no more!
