People who know me describe me as extremely kind, generous as well as direct. I try to avoid misunderstandings, but I'm also quite sensitive to the feelings of others and respectful. I want my partner to be sensitive to others, and not selfish or arrogant in her thinking or behaviors because of someone's job or position in life.
I don't fit in a "box" of ideas like most people, especially as an American. I'm not sure if this is genetic, or because I've been traveling for about 20-years to over 70 countries for work and pleasure, but I've never grown tired of learning or traveling. My home is in Florida, USA, but I've lived in New York City, and Gibraltar (well, splitting my time between London, Madrid, Sofia and Gibraltar), but I prefer warm weather, sunshine and for me, there's peace living near an ocean with beautiful beaches. That's why I live near Miami (USA). But I spend a lot of time in Europe. Also, I think there's beauty attractive values, interesting places and people everywhere — I don't believe that any one country can claim it's "the best".
I never do things for show, or for appearances or to flaunt anything. However, I do live a dynamic and somewhat full life that includes nice things”. I've started, built and sold a few companies and I enjoy this quite a bit. I love building or creating things – especially businesses, houses, and friendships.
I don't smoke and I've never used illegal drugs, not even to experiment. Of course most people have smoked and experimented with drugs, this is a natural part of living that I completely understand. Also, I don't judge those who smoke or use drugs - people should do as they want with their lives - but it's just not for me and I can't be with a partner who smokes or does drugs.
I love live music! I'm not crazy about this, but over the last 10 years I've been to many concerts - U2 in Turin Italy and Vienna; De Peche Mode in Kiev and Geneva; Green Day in Antwerp Belgium; and in the US I've seen One Republic, Madonna, Kings of Leon, Maroon 5 and I listen to a lot of different styles - like The XXX, Muse, Imagine Dragons, Lucius, Gavin DeGraw, Scorpions, John Legend, Coldplay, Skrillex, John Legend and many others.
I also love good food (sometimes at famous restaurants and sometimes at humble ones) and I can cook quite well. I enjoy modern even abstract art and can relax by exploring a city, on a boat, attending an art exhibition, a chill-out bar or even sometimes a night club.
Also, while I'm 49 years old I feel, look and live like a much, much younger man – except that I know what I want, and I've made a lot of good decisions as well as bad decisions, and I've something (a lot) from life. Regarding my youthful outlook, I can't explain this, except to say that my energy, natural curiosity, adaptability and activities don't match typical people of my age.
