Hello,
I’m a 35-year-old Frenchman living in a very old stone farmhouse in the quiet French countryside. A few years ago I still had sheep, a few hens… and some foxes who loved the hens a bit too much, so now it’s just me and the wind in the oak trees.I earn my life as an antic book seller.
The last two years have been the hardest of my life : cancer, leukemia in the family, friends lost to suicide… Some days are heavy, but I still wake up grateful for little things — morning mist, good books, the smell of coffee.
That’s why I’m here : I would love to find one gentle, understanding woman to share soft conversations, daily photos, voice notes, maybe fall asleep on video call one day… and who knows, meet when I’m strong again.
A little more about me :
– I read a lot (classic literature, history, philosophy)
– By day I’m an archaeologist and local historian
– I’m also a freemason and serve as city councillor in my small town
– Huge soft spot for japan Korea and everything calm and beautiful in asian culture
I’m not looking for perfect — just someone kind who doesn’t mind slow replies on difficult days and who likes deep, sincere connection.
If you feel like sending a “hello” and maybe a photo of your tea or your cat, I would be really happy.
Take care of you.
Maxime
