Well I am a happy-go-lucky guy with a serious side. I love to laugh, yet sensitive enough to cry if needed. I wear my heart on my sleeve and my looking to share it with a Lady who carries it with her always.

I'm a strong and confidant Man in need of some love and care, in a meaningful way. Not interested in casual dating or head games... I'm the real deal, what you see is what you get with me.

I pride myself on my Loyalty to my mate as it is one of my few demands I insist from my partner. The others are Honesty and open communication. Trust is something that is earned over a period of time and can not be demanded. Once earned however, well things only get better from there.

I enjoy the out doors as well as a evenings at home with that special someone, just talking or cuddled up watching a good movie. I am a "hopeless romantic". I do bring flowers for no other reason than "I wanted to."

I love cooking all kinds of meals. From dinners for large families to intimate dinners for two. I hate cooking for one.

I live in Port Alberni and love the atmosphere in this small town. I love fishing, as a sport, not as an all day event necessarily!lol! There are plenty of nice areas here to enjoy the great outdoors.

I like to go out once in a while, I am a social Man and enjoy meeting new and interesting people as well as visiting with known friends and associates. I prefer smaller quiet Pubs over the Night Club scene, although sometimes it can be fun if you can go as a couple. Social interaction is an important part of who I am however, I never let another person or social situation take my focus away from my "Date" if I happen to be on one. In other words, when I am with someone, they deserve my attention, I look into their eyes when talking with them, I hold their hand when I sit with them, and when we want, it is her I choose to dance with.

I do all this because I care. I love to take care of my Lady without being overbearing, I know you can open a door yourself, but let me get it for you anyways! ;)

I am 6'3 1/2" and weigh in at a healthy 245 pounds, built like a bear, but not hairy! I am not a shallow Man, I in no way restrict who I date based on "looks", but it is important to be open as to what I find most attractive, wouldn't you agree? My philosophy is that if a Lady takes care of her body and mind, that tells me they love and respect themselves outwardly. That sends me a message that they are also capable of loving me as well.
