I live in the Kootenays and am surrounded by endless opportunities for hiking, biking and snow & water sports.

I have two large gardens and a greenhouse which keeps me busy during the growing season.

I'm currently building another house on the lower part of one of my properties and am generating my own lumber from my own logs. However, I'm disciplining myself to get out road biking 2 or 3 times per week.

I want a best friend I can sleep with, cuddle with, work with, hike with, walk with, shop with, cook with, Live with. I want a life partner. Someone that I can laugh with and build with. Somebody that I can trust with my heart, my money and my Life. Somebody I know that will always be there, and I'll be there for them. We always hold hands and when out at a restaurant or such, we sit next to each other, not across. Our trust will be through the roof. I am looking for that special person who wants to be in a small community which has access to larger towns, and is keen on all the things that take place on a homestead including wild food foraging, home preserving, making lots of home foods such as bread, kombucha, yogourt, beer and wine, etc.

Besides all the foody things, I am very keen on doing much in the way of outdoor recreation and hope you do as well.

I like to relax more in the winter by doing lots of reading, playing Scrabble whilst playing lots of eclectic music, and fixing things in my shop.

If you are wanting to check out from the city like I did several years ago, and move to a chunk of land that requires a wide range of skills and provides an overall very healthy lifestyle, I would highly recommend going for it like I did. It just kind of makes sense to have another soul mate to share the joys as well as the fun labour of it all.

I have a small community of like-minded friends and neighbours and we are going to expand into chickens and goats in order to share the work as well as the rewards.

I insist on open communication with lots of interesting and curious thoughts on all kinds of subjects. I love learning new things.

I want to be with someone who is fit, healthy, kind, committed to most of the things I previously described, and is ambitious.

My physical affection and thank-you's and compliments will come easily every day. I know I'm missing very many things here but perhaps we can learn more about each other through chats.

Sorry to be straight forward but you have to have your own assets built up and not just looking for someone to "rescue" you. You have to a kind and considerate person.

I enjoy working hard staying fit and have a heavy emphasis on health. If you can garden, cook, work hard, recreate outdoors year 'round, relax to good books, games and music, plus you can share this with a soul mate, give this a very good thought. We would have to be friends first as well as "click" personally. Hopefully you can keep up with me physically as well as intellectually.
