I believe it’s very important that family and friends accept the person you’ve chosen to be with. They often provide a valuable outside perspective, and sometimes they may see things that you might not. If my loved ones had concerns, I would want to understand their perspective and have an open discussion. At the same time, I would make my own informed decision. Ultimately, I trust the people who care about me to want what’s best for my happiness and well-being.
