Hi there, I love meeting people and enjoying most activities. I especially love the summer months and always thought I should have been born in a hot country ;) I enjoy all of the summer activities which include sailing and swimming, cottaging, BBQ's etc. I am not much into sports but I do love romance and anything romantic would for sure get my attention.
I do enjoy the family life I enjoy the family life as I do have a fifteen year old son.
I equally enjoy staying in and watching a good movie and enjoying a nice home cooked dinner or playing a board game. Music is my passion and I much prefer the stereo over the television set though one can't live without both. I like to sing but I save that for the occasional karaoke night.
I work full time and my work consists of helping people in a non profit organization. I volunteer and serve on three Boards of Directors and I am the President of one of them. I am also on a committee of a large labour union in Canada. I have a moderate physical disability and I use a power wheelchair but I am able to walk on crutches as well in certain circumstances. My disability has given me the opportunity to be on approximately four documentary television shows talking about parenting with a disability. I do have a creative side and have been in independent film and theatre regarding disability and I have written numerous articles on the topic. I also write poems as well.
I am looking for a "family man type" who is looking for a long-term relationship and would consider marriage if he found the right woman. A sense of humour, good morals and values, is organized and looks after himself. Creativity and "a romantic at heart" is definitely a bonus!
