I'm a very creative, curious, open-minded, intelligent, and nature oriented person who has seen, experienced, and accomplished much in life; broke ground in non-traditional fields, traveled, pursued adventurous hobbies, and hung out with some pretty interesting folks. I love and respect our natural world (even fought radically for it during my younger years). My politics lean toward social democracy. I don't wear make-up nor like to shop much, except camping and second hand stores. I love to create, laugh, learn, live my truth, play music, stand up paddle board, canoe, help, and hang out with friends and animals (some of which are both). I work towards staying in balance and do take care of my own responsibilities but I believe it's important to have fun along the way. Life is meant to be lived well but not at the expense of others. I have my own mind and speak it but am tactful and respectful when doing so; instead of trying to fix or change others, I like to let others be where they choose to be.

Time and chronic lyme disease have tempered my high adventure and physically active spirit but in my mind I can still dance and play music all night, scuba dive or ride my motorcycle all day, and back pack or bike for miles.

I hope to be able to continue contributing good things to our world. Some of the work I've already done over the years has been as a Master Herbalist, Reiki Master, Youth Worker, Hand Drumming Facilitator, Tutor, Writer, and Animal Rehabilitator. It would be great to have a partner to share my life and interests with. Maybe someday someone who I can one day sit on the porch in a rocking chair next to and reminisce about the good times we had together.
