It is difficult to describe oneself in a paragraph, especially when one is diverse in skills, taste, and interests! What I can say is that I am a retired immunologist who was the director of a regional laboratory, but now I focus my energy artistically and in my wonderful grandchildren! My daughter lives in the United States, and I spend a few months each year with her and her family in Virginia. I am a very romantic person and strive to create a warm, loving environment for my family. I am successful and happy in my life, but I am missing that most important component, which is a soulmate to share my wonderful life with. My close people will tell you I am unique and challenging, but I think there is little worthwhile that is not so! Please also understand that my English is developing, but I am certainly not yet fluent and will require some patience when we are communicating!

The most important thing is the man I am looking for should be my true soulmate, capable of being both vulnerable and strong. He would have a good sense of humor and appreciate life's small moments. He would be open to other cultures and enjoy learning and appreciate diversity. He should not be an extremist, but rather moderate in all things. A person who sees the world as black and white rather than various shades of gray would probably not be a good match. He must be a family man first, and then loyal to other interests in his life. Also, he must be a non-smoker!
