About me...... I am a widowed and have two grown children, both of whom are married I am now at a point in my life where I am ready to put myself back out there and look for a new relationship.

I am looking for a partner that shares my core values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and mutual respect. I'm looking for a long-term relationship, hopefully marriage someday. However, I am always open to new friendships!

I am a quiet, confident individual who values a woman who is comfortable with herself first and foremost. I am a great listener and can carry on a conversation on most topics. I am faithful to the "one" I am with.

Although I am may seem quiet, at least at first, it is because I am paying attention to you. I try to follow a healthy lifestyle which includes being active outside as well inside. I have a very calm temper and prefer to avoid conflicts. In a relationships I treasure loyalty, honesty and respect. I never try to be someone else, I am who I am. My life has made me who I am, and I am proud of being this person. I am kind and have a warm heart. I am purposeful and know what I want. I am an easy going person. I like to smile and to laugh and to make people happy. No matter what happens in life I always try and remain upbeat and positive.

I love intimate candlelit dinners, soft music, slow dancing, walking hand-in-hand, be it a comfortable stroll along the river or strolling on the beach on a tropical get-a-way. We would be each other's biggest fans as we travel through this thing called life.

I enjoy holding hands in public and if the mood hits, to not worry who is looking if we share a kiss in public. I am kind, affectionate, romantic, and love dogs, although I don't have one at the moment.

I like to travel and explore new places and old I like to go for walks, work out, as well as relax with friends and family.

I enjoy blues, rock and some country music.

As for hobbies, I like to play guitar (learning anyway), computers, reading, listening to audio-books, driving, fishing, golf, exercising and barbecuing.

I also like to keep my mind active by taking on-line courses as well as attending seminars.

I enjoy shopping and of course cheering on the Roughriders.

About the person I hope to find.....

I hope to find someone with plenty of love to give, who is "down-to-earth" and humble, and has plenty of self respect. I want a woman who is into the idea of a partnership, as we are equals.
