Experience has taught me that good communication is probably the most important quality in a strong, healthy relationship.

I'm convinced that within a caring relationship, communication must be patient, appreciative, sincere and free from anger. I am also convinced that real intimacy between two people is out of reach unless it relies on open, caring communication above all.

I especially enjoy spending time in the mountains and on the water, on a bike or on a trail, although any time spent outdoors in fresh air is good time. I possess a compelling sense of adventure, a love of art, architecture, film, music & the performing arts, a life-long fascination with the natural world, an instinct for travel and a genuine interest in learning about people, places and cultures still unfamiliar to me.
