A person emailed me and said this description of me sounds needy. She was very far from the truth. It is simply a note telling you who I am and getting to the point so to speak So if you are someone looking to travel around the globe and stay in 5 star restaurants every couple of months for months on end. I am not him. So maybe you can be polite and email me back saying no thanks if you choose to.

I am self employed and have been for more than 35 years. I run a renovation company here in west and North Vancouver. I don't make oodles of money but enough to pay my business bills, my personal bills to pamper myself in cloths and save enough in the bank to go on vacation or a "rainy day" But don't necessarily spend if its raining of course. I love what I do and love the people I work for. I enjoy the new challenges my work has to offer. Some months are so busy I could scream while others are simply slow. I take advantage of the slow months to do things I left unattended like walks on the sea wall, (rain or shine) visiting Gas town, Horse Shoe Bay grand ville Island and yard sailing.

I am telling you this because I want you to know I am not rich in financial worth, but better off than many. I always enter a relationship where I never use the words want or need simply because we really don't need or want for anything. We are perfect on our own. We just choose to be with someone and share what we have to offer another. We do it all the time when we volunteer.

I love to cook and try new recipes I cook my own meals and don't really get a chance to cook for someone else.

I enjoy cross word puzzles and jig saw puzzles and have both down to an art. like watching videos or going to the movies and have seen to many to count. I like boating but no longer have my boat. I like sailing but never had a sail boat.

I am a romantic kind of guy who likes to kiss in public, hold hands and cuddle up watching a movie.

I like going places I've never been. I traveled all along the Eastern coast of North America from Cape Britain Canada to Roude Island USA. I've been to every providence except Sask and Man. I have been all over Ontario from Toronto to Thunder bay. I've been to New York, Boston, Reno, Florida, Las Vegas. I have been to Spain, Portugal, North Africa, Tangiers, Mecca, Casablanca. I have been to Nassau in the Bahamas. I hope to go to new places even a small get-a-way some place.

I've wilderness camped near Blue River BC. I climbed Trophy Mt in Wells Grey Park when there was still three feet of snow on the top of the mountain in July. I canoed down the Mackenzie River in Nova Scotia. I would love to canoe down the Nile River.

Although I took dancing lessons some years ago I would like to take them again with a partner. I think dancing is fun. I go to pubs to eat and only in the summer do I have two beers while in the winter it would be wine or coffee. The wine I make I give away to most of my friends and enjoy a glass now and then with my meal.
