I'm an athletic and energetic person that likes to get out in nature and play just as much as I like to stay at home and watch TV. My dog is a lazy ex-racing Greyhound, and he is awesome. I have my 2 kids living with me, daughter-7 and son-3. They know they are my number one, and tell other people too. They are the most well behaved kids I've ever seen, and they are way to smart for their own good. I have the Greyhound and they have a rabbit (great combo there) and 4 hermit crabs. My daughter wants to get another Greyhound, I'm not too sure yet. The house may be big enough, but that's a lot of food.....

I've worked for a variety of federal agencies for the last 13 years. I was in the Army for over 9 of the years. I was a medic, worked in nearly every environment. I was in hospitals and clinics as well as with the Tanks, Bradly's, and Infantry. I like to talk and tell my stories, the Army life isn't all bad. I've been around the world about 3 times visited 13 countries and somehow ended up back home, no joke, about a block from my parents. I wanted my kids to have the great educational opportunities that I had. Savannah,GA was my home for a long time. It was hard to leave, but I can always visit. I've had to grow up faster than I wanted, but when a dude is raising 2 kids, he's gotta set different priorities. I am the cool dad. There's still some irresponsibility left in me. I am sarcastic, witty and fun. I build wooden furniture from reclaimed wood for fun. I've cut my own hair for the last 11 years. I don't like to shave so I keep a constant stubble or thin beard, it goes well with the shaved head. Lincoln logs are my favorite toy. I like to go sledding on the sand dunes at white Sands. I'd like to cook at home for more than the 3 of us. I like a "good" beer every so often when out for dinner, that's about the extent of my drinking. Chicago Pizza is my choice pick for dinner out, unless I'm in Savannah, then it's The Cotton Exchange, One Eyed Lizzie's, or Moon River. I don't like country music. Most of my choice music is played on Sirius Octane. About any rock/metal/core made in the last 45 years or so is good listening to me. I like to watch football, but I'm not a crazy sports nut. I root for multiple teams; Jaguars, Falcons, Colts, Bronco's, and Giants. Gets crazy when they play each other. I'm a tech junkie that hates to be tied down with a cell phone. I like to ride my Cannondale mountain bike on/off road, when the Jeep can't take me where I'm going. I try to keep the Jeep muddy, it makes it feel more like a Jeep. I don't usually speed, unless I'm running late for work. I'm more likely to drive slow. I can be a bit reserved at first but I loosen up after a bit. I have yet to meet a stranger. I'm a pretty open person, if you want to ask anything, go for it. I'm not looking to carry on long conversations on here, I'm here to meet people. If we do talk, be sure you are wanting to meet face to face. This idea scares off quite a few of you though, and that's ok because you aren't ready to meet a great guy yet. It will be a very public place where we can see if there's any chemistry. Although, if my daughter doesn't approve, there is no hope. She is the most important girl in my life. She knows I'm looking for new friends and wants me to be happy. I'm not looking for a replacement mother I know it takes a village to raise a child, and I have plenty of family here in the area to ensure they are well rounded.
