Hey, I am kind of bored at the moment so I thought I'd give this a try and see what happens. I am down to earth and open minded, but I am probably one of the most opinionated people you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. I'm not afraid to speak my mind, I'm stubborn, and most of the time I get my way.(: My friends would probably describe me as intelligent, funny, dependable and a good listener.I can seem thick skinned on the outside, but when you get to know me I am a big marshmallow and quite sensitive. I am passionate about social Justice, GLBTQIA Rights, Equality and everything else idealistic and liberal. My son is now six years old and just started first grade. I am currently working at an organization that helps young people experiencing homelessness better their lives.

I am looking for someone who shares similar values, and goals, and who I can have as a best friend as well as a lover They also need to be able to make me laugh and keep my attention. I am not a girl who will apologize for who I am, so I want to be with someone who will accept me and appreciate our differences as well as our similarities. am very particular about who I date, but at the same time I don't really have a "type." I generally look for someone who stands out from the crowd in some way or another, and humor and confidence is what initially attracts me. When thinking about long term potential, i would ideally like to be with someone who has a strong character, and who challenges me mentally. I would like a partner who is dependable and considerate, and who respects me and is worthy of my respect. It is important to me that whoever I am with has interests and ambitions outside of our relationship. He needs to be okay with the fact that I am independent and occasionally crave time on my own or with my friends. Obviously chemistry is important and I would like to be with someone who values spending quality time together. Vacations together are a must to get away from the daily grind and enjoy each other. Wow, I really rambled on. I guess I have a lot of thoughts on the subject. By the way, since these pictures were taken I dyed my hair dark brown. Just needed a change.
