Favorite things: Innocence of a child, open minded people, smell of fresh cut grass, hugs, discovery, wildflowers, holding hands, sharing, sunsets, marshmallows over a fire with friends and wine, adventures, unique restaurants, slow kisses, being loved by the one I love, spontaneity, coffee in the morning, wind in the trees, grand kids, walks on a beach, intelligent conversations, learning new things,

foot rubs, good memories, old friends (and new), floating in water, reading, restoring old things back to life and usefulness, talking to and learning from the elderly (older than me!), slow dancing, barbecue, ok ok already...I'm a romantic.

Unlike so many I was blessed with a wonderful wife and a great marriage. Since losing my wife I find life has lost its vibrancy. I'm a good decent man who has the tools (financially secure, loving nature, physical health and so forth) for a happy life. I just need that special someone to share it with. Retired business man born and raised in Texas (yes I can ride a horse, shoot a gun and hunt) but am far from being a red neck. I endeavor to lead a relatively healthy lifestyle while still enjoying all life has to offer. I love adventure and new experiences. I will be sharing my first (and probably last!) parachute jump with my son this summer. I have 3 grown children that all have families of their own. They are all mature, happy and successful. I love them all as well as my grand kids and yes even great grand kids. We are very close though none live close. I travel, go on cruises, dance seek interesting restaurants, visit casinos, gardening, enjoy movies, restore things when I have the time and feel energetic (furniture, cars, motorcycles, tractors, etc.). I enjoy museums, theatre, arts, festivals, water sports, live music (prefer CW and classic rock but enjoy all including classical), fishing and more are all fun. I am social and enjoy good company and intelligent conversation. I am well read and current on local and world events. I consider myself independent but lean pretty conservative. I'm looking for a drama free good natured lady who is also healthy happy and secure and wants a man to love her with all his heart, protect her and be nurturing and faithful to the end.
