This is a new experience for me! My daughter has put in this profile, by my wishes, and I have just now bought a computer and I am trying to navigate it.

I live in Asheboro North Carolina, but I am willing to date someone outside of my town. Though I do not prefer to drive great distances, we could meet halfway sometimes.

I am looking for someone to talk to, share experiences with, go to dinner, perhaps dancing, or take lessons, (shag, clogging or line dancing), but it is not required to be able to dance, or even like it, but it is a bonus as I enjoy doing it from time to time. I am not usually one to ask the gentleman, as I am old fashioned and like him to ask me out, unless we knew one another for a while, then I may make suggestions.

I would like to eventually go into a relationship and/or close friendship. I am not looking for marriage but I am not against it either, if love came along and we felt we wanted it, then it would be something I would consider.

I am humble, modest, and a country girl. I have a loving heart and I would treat you as any friend/partner would want, honest, with kindness, laughter and all that goes with a relationship.

I was married for 39 years and know how to make a relationship work. I am willing to give and take, and I am open to new experiences, for example golf, hiking (light) or activities that I have not participated in before.

I prefer a non-smoker and non-drinker....I used to smoke, but I quit many years ago and I prefer to not be around someone who drinks, but socially is ok, within limits.
