I'm 36 and lived in Mumbai ( India ) for the first few years; thereafter I was in the US for further studies. I worked out of NY for a few years.
I always wanted to be a 'Management Consultant'; however it takes two things to be a good consultant - grey hair and hemorrhoids. The grey hair makes you look distinguished and the hemorrhoids make you look concerned. I had neither, so I shifted back to India and now in Bangalore. Though these days I carry a peppered look.
Like any city guy I work hard and play even harder. Love to go out on weekends for a drink but I'm equally happy with a quiet night and some good company.
I am, in no particular order:
A fairly plausible cook
A retired bathroom singer. It's no fun when you have to strain to reach middle C
A survivor of graduate school.
I don't read Fortune, but I've eaten a lot of their cookies.
My favorite things
Bungee jumping, wrestling with my dogs, driving and riding fast clubbing, traveling to new places, casinos, solving mensa puzzles, etc.
My motto in life
LIVE and enjoy what you do. Have a ball each and every day in life!!! You only live once and this is the only time you have the present moment - so enjoy it.
I get irritated by
Bad breadth, desultory conversation, boring dates, lack of civic sense, cruelty to dogs, hangovers after a bad night out, traffic snarls, flight delays and dirty toilet seats.
Things in life I would like to do - but haven't done yet
Fly a plane alone date Jessica Alba, live in the white House, build a company like Lehman Brothers and then file for bankruptcy, enroll for PHD in Stanford and drop out like Sergie Brin and Larry Page, be superman - wear my janks on top of my pants.
