A self description, huh? I hate these. You either sound arrogant or self-deprecating. Bad things first so you don't waste your time...

I smoke. I'm overweight But weight is subjective, so I'll say this; I wear a size 14. I'm a blunt person and that seems to bother some people. I don't have a lot of patience in terms of accomplishing things. Because I am a direct person, I don't tolerate other people being cryptic with me. That doesn't mean I don't try to be mindful of other people's feelings, I'm not a cruel or rude person. I have a dry sense of humor that sometimes comes across poorly.

Good things...

I'm pretty or so I'm told, it's not something I "know" myself). I'm not fickle. I've lived long enough to know who I am and young enough to enjoy the comfort which comes from that knowledge. I love to fish. I own one or two nice outfits but it's mostly jeans in my closet. In other words, I'm not looking for fancy events in my life. I'm diabetic (though I keep arguing with my doctor on that one). You might think that should be a bad thing, but it isn't. I tend to eat healthy, exercise regularly, I don't drink. I have it under perfect control and as a result I am pretty healthy. I am adventurous and enjoy learning new things, experiencing new things.

Indifferent things: I enjoy certain types of TV shows; crime shows, vampire shows and the news. I collect books and am an avid reader. I'm a pianist, an artist and a writer. I have a professional career. I don't expect anything out of another person that I myself am unwilling or unable to do.

No-No's: Don't lie to me. Biggest no-no a person can do in my book. I detest deceitfulness.
